Inside a Custom Build
Here’s what a custom iPod Classic looks like on the inside. This one’s upgraded for longer battery life, more storage, and a look you won’t find stock.

- Battery 5.5× larger than stock for significantly longer playtime

Matching Backplates
Since these builds don’t use stock storage, the back shouldn’t say stock capacity either. I can source a backplate engraved with the actual size of your build — 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, whatever you end up with — so the outside matches what’s actually inside.
It’s a small detail, but it’s the one people notice. No mismatched “160GB” on a terabyte iPod.
